Type: Backcountry or Sidecountry
Description
While this faces southeast, there is a little sun protection from the trees and general shelter from this enormous bowl, so it skis pretty well in a lot of conditions.
From the Fowler Hilliard hut, you can see many tempting ski lines through widely-spaced trees, and this is the easiest to get to. From the flat
Access to Fowler Trees (which is just a summer road), scoot along flat ground until you find a line that looks good. The one marked here is one of the best - enough trees to keep it interesting but you can open it up and take huge fast turns.
There are some tighter sections, but then it opens up again. The lower part gets less fun, so stop when you've had enough and head up for another lap.
