Type: Backcountry or Sidecountry
Description
If you like tighter trees, move over from
Fowler Trees West from this treat.
There are many lines in this drainage, but this is the best if you want tighter tree skiing. It faces southwest, so try to hit it soon after a storm. Use the mobile app and make sure you stay on the southwest face, and not the south face, which is quite a bit harder and has several cliffs (though you can easily get back to this drainage if you do end up over there).
It's generally mature lodgepole pines, though there are some aspen glades at the bottom. The lower part can have much heavier snow (fewer trees, more sun, lower elevation), so quit whenever you want by traversing west to a common ascent called
Resolution Creek to Fowler Hilliard Hut.
