Description

Your hut reservation includes a one-time lift ticket at Copper Mountain's Kokomo and Lumberjack lifts, so you might as well save your legs for the more interesting terrain above!

Get your ticket at the office (show them your reservation), then take Kokomo and Lumberjack lifts. Not that we would suggest such a thing... but you are now above the base lifts and could theoretically stash your packs and ride some upper lifts if you wanted to...

From the top of Lumberjack, ski down right along the edge of the ski area and looks for the access gate with a blue diamond marker. From there, descend slightly, with a steep finish down to Guller Creek. From here, navigation is trivial: just follow the drainage all the way up the hut. The views of the high peaks are great, the forest is pretty, and thanks to the very high starting elevation, the grade is very easy.
