Description

If the high-altitude options are no good (bad weather, avy conditions, etc), there's still decent skiing to be had right next to the hut. Head east and stay at, or just above, tree line. Go at least a quarter mile, or further if you want. As long as you a little ways in, you'll get a nice consistent fall line. The trees are pretty tight - not a great place for beginners. There's a lot of terrain in there.
