Overview

This is a classic 3,000-foot descent of Mount Tallac.

Need to Know

Beware of the potential for very large avalanches in this bowl.

Description

Approach using the Mt Tallac: NE Bowl Ascent or Mt Tallac: NE Ridge Ascent. After enjoying the views from the summit, ski the big bowl right back down to your car. Or choose from many alternative chutes.

Good skiing can be found on powder days, but beware of avalanches, and great spring corn is also found here.
