Description

The summer line descent from Black Mountain is either via this long-lasting snowfield, or in heavier snow years, down the "Y Couloir" (difficult). This line of snow "corns up" nicely by mid-morning and can be lapped if you're staying in the area or camping at the lake and have some time.
