Type: Backcountry or Sidecountry
Overview
This is the east face of Mount Tuscarora, just south of Mount Wolverine.
Need to Know
Look out for a wind cornice at the top, it will often form. Depending the season's snowfall, If it's already been ridden and snow / base is somewhat low/mid - you may want to pass and ski the south shoulder or roll around to the North and work towards the X & Y chutes.
Description
The entrance can be sprinkled with shark teeth and require a controlled step down past the first pinch (the first wing of the seagull) the second wing opens to nice hop turns, then let it rip out the apron as it's glorious.
Approach can been done multiple ways, but the simplest/most direct is to boot up the south ridge of Tuscarora, and you can enter just down to the south through the trees (in average to higher snow years the entrance is pretty straight forward)
The second favorable approach is descend down the south ridge of Mount Wolverine and skin up to the top of Tuscarora.
