Overview

The entire run is in the trees, but it never gets too dense and there are numerous small openings.

Description

From the Deer Creek Ascent, drop through the trees to the north. Deer Creek creates a terrain trap, so the goal is to end at the intersection of Deer Creek and Hwy 550. This area can hold great snow even in warmer conditions. It is a great route to connect with the Coal Creek skiing.

At the end, retrace your route, walk up the highway or throw a thumb out!
