Type: Backcountry or Sidecountry
Overview
Also known as the Haiyaha Creek Run or Chaos Creek, Mario Gully runs from Lake Haiyaha to Tyndall Creek.
Need to Know
Keep an eye out for sections of open creek, and remember that the gully's steep walls and cliffs make it a formidable terrain trap. If done in spring, keep an eye out for sections of the gulley to be melted away exposing holes that are multiple feet deep with water runoff underneath, they can be right behind some of the terrain features and get you caught in them if not cautious.
If you follow the gulley straight down, you'll be far off the path, stay left to connect to the route down.
Description
You can find pillows and small drops in here when it's filled in and stable (most of which can be skirted). Approach from the Lake Haiyaha hiking trail.
