Be kind to cross country skiers!
Description
A longish road tour is rewarded by some of the steeper meadows readily available in the northern Bridgers. Driving north past Bridger Bowl, park on the east side of the road just past a small bridge.
Follow the popular cross country skin track until you reach the small South Fork Brackett Creek Trailhead. Cross the road's hair pin turn and continue west up the ridge-line. Enjoy views of Bridger Bowl and
Bradley's Meadow to the south and Ross Peak to the north.
After roughly 3 miles, the ridge line will begin to ascend to two peaks, the upper being the main access to Texas Meadows. There are plenty of lines off each peak to all aspects and various terrain from roughly 30-40 degrees.
