Description

From the parking area just north of the Eldora sign, head south on the road and into the main resort parking area. From there, work your way up looker's left along the runs of the resort. You'll eventually reach a sign that reads "Jenny Creek" or something along those lines.

Once on the Jenny Creek Trail, you'll head steeply uphill. Be sure to follow the blue diamonds that mark this route. Once you've crested this first hill, the trail continues west but leading downhill back into the Jenny Creek drainage. After skirting the creek for a little ways, the route gets steeper and ascends through thinning forest.

Just before reaching the hut, the route enters an open field that is normally very windy. Continue up this open area and know that the hut is generally to the left of it. Though not well marked, you'll hopefully find the hut nestled tightly in the trees.

Lots of work in sometimes deep snow. Blue diamonds were hard to spot at times, but found the hut. Could not find the pipeline trail. Turned around. 8.9mi — 5h 20m

A couple patches of dirt, but mostly good! Sun and warm weather made for some sticky snow on the way up, didn't really notice on the way down though. 9.8mi — 5h 38m
