Description

From Kachina Peak's summit, follow a sub-ridge down past the entrance to the Easter Couloir. The slope steepens and meanders through some trees and rocks into this chute. The line is technical and gnarly; it's good to scope this from across the valley and study pictures before attempting a descent. Near the middle are a couple independent starting zones and some drops where the chute rolls over some steep terrain features. It opens onto an apron running to the bottom of Kachina's broad east face.
