Description

This descent starts about 200 feet short of the actual summit of Shadow Mountain, but that summit is covered with trees, so this spot provides a great panorama of the Teton Range and serves as a good starting point. From the top of the Shadow Mountain Ascent, simply retrace your path down, winding through the trees back down to the main track where you can turn left to head back to where you started.
