Description

This Taos classic is a steep, long mogul run cherished by locals on a powder day, and provides a challenging step into expert terrain for those who want to test their skills.

From the Bambi ski run, enter the gate from the top of Zagava and ski through some trees to where the run opens up. This line is a natural avalanche path that has been thinned out to provide open terrain for skiers and riders. Moguls develop quickly after it opens; hence, this long run can require endurance. Halfway down, the line makes a left then right turn and continues to the runout onto the Rubezahl return trail.
