Overview

A great open shot for nearly 1,000', allowing the skier/rider to make it as challenging or easy as they want.

Description

The main bowl is not nearly as technical as the eastern arm can be. The bottom does get a little "cliffed out" so it is important to choose your line wisely. Given the large scree fields, sun exposure, and lacking vegetation, this does have higher potential for a slide.

To get back to the highway, the easiest route will be to take the well-established skin track that follows the Kettle Crest Trail. Once on the north/northeast aspect of Sherman Peak, one can pick their way downhill towards the highway.
