Overview
Second Creek tree run.
Need to Know
As many people may or may not know, the 7 Mile run below has caused many people to get lost over the years. Do not take this lightly, be sure to have a GPS before starting down either
3.5 or 3.6. Just remember, the Frazier River is below in the valley, take this left to Hwy 40 and you'll not have any issues. If you are directionally challenged, you might steer clear of these ski runs.
Description
Ski Information:
• We headed towards the Second Creek Drainage
• We crossed the creek bed 5-7 times before reaching the Fraser River
• Be extremely careful in the creek bed, lots of downed trees
• Skiing is tight trees, but more continuous than
3.5 ski run
• Crossing the Frazier River is snow dependent
• After crossing the Frazier River, head left toward Highway 40 switchback, the trail is normally broken and easy to follow
