Need to Know

This is Class 3 avalanche terrain, so know before you go. There's no cell phone service, so rescue may be impossible.

Description

From the summit, this line rolls over a precarious, deep windslab at the starting zone of this path, then follows a straightforward descent down a steep chute. After crossing treeline and running past some smaller trees, the chute drops onto a flat meadow kept open by debris deposits from frequent avalanches.
