Description

This open line drops a few hundred feet into an alpine basin, and is one of a series of steep avalanche-prone gullies in the south-facing bowl at the head of Long Canyon. Strong winds deposit snow at the top of this ridge, and the gullies below act like a sluice and catch snow that forms vertical drifts in the terrain features.
