Need to Know

There are buried rock bands in the center of this line. In the spring time, they heat up faster than the surrounding areas, causing wet slides to break from the middle of the face.

Description

Awesome, open skiing down a slope that anyone who has ever skied at Copper Mountain has dreamed about. What better powder skiing is there than down an open face that's half a mile wide. You could lap it for days and never cross tracks.

Be careful around the cornices along the top of the face and avoid this face during persistent slab cycles.
