Overview

Start at the Crest, ski the stairs, make your way over the nearly unrecognizable La Luz if there's fresh snow, and notice the Fin on your right. Then, skin up or boot up, depending on conditions, and make it to the saddle where you'll get a great view to the southern Sandia Range. Take it in, then have a ball going on the left side of the Fin near the bottom.

Need to Know

Approach from the Crest (paid parking). Be careful at Andy Boy chute in icy conditions.

Description

No major dog legs, no frills, just need to clear to La Luz on your way down and enjoy the line!

History & Background

Unknown first descent. Lots of backcountry skiers have come and gone, but technology of equipment, and sites like these will make access easy, so expect to start seeing tracks in here... maybe moguls someday.
