Overview

An easier & fun line off the summit of Kelso Mountain, back down to Stevens Gulch

Description

Park at the Grays & Torreys Winter TH & use the Torreys Peak ascent until you reach the south slopes of Kelso Mountain. Skin to the top of this 13er & choose whatever line you like off the south side of the mountain back to the skintrack. In winter months you'll be able to ski all the way back to the TH, nearly 5 miles & over 3K of fun turns.

Note that while this is the most mellow line off this peak, these slopes are avalanche terrain & there was a slide fatality here in 2014. Assess your plan & terrain accordingly.
