Dropping in to some soft pow turns.
At the bottom of the run, looking back up the gully. The slope to the right looks inviting but is steeper and likely more avalanche prone than the route I've described. It's also shorter.

At the bottom of the run, looking back up the gully. The slope to the right looks inviting but is steeper and likely more avalanche prone than the route I've described. It's also shorter.
Pipet and Siskin peaks labeled, along with a blue border around the best skiable area and an arrow. Again, possible to start higher but the snow surface is at the mercy of the wind.
Milking the Old Roadcut for an easy skintrack up to the Montgomery Pass Trees.
Consistently good early season pow.
Plenty of fun stumps to jump off of.
Pow turns on the weekend BEFORE Thanksgiving!
