Cut through Crags Campground to the trail junction in the woods just beyond.
This trail junction is shortly after you pass through the Crags Campground. Bear left to head up the Crags Trail, bear right to head up the Devils Playground Trail.
The boot pack can be well established near the summer trailhead for Crags/Devil's Playground.
This is looking east up the Crags drainage.
This is the view looking west from a clearing near the end of the Lower Devils Playground Trail.
From the clearing looking toward cirque.
North side of the ridge above cornice bowl, facing south. Easiest descent is downhill from this location, and steeper descents can be found as you approach the cornice
