On wet snow days, getting to the top of the cone may be a bit of a challenge.
This was taken from the top of the cone looking north. Runs drop from the peak seen on the ski-line into the Lake Desolation drainage, but they are steep and much more avalanche-prone than PP3.
Here is some more crappy skiing by yours truly. This may give you an idea of the terrain in the Powder Park 3 area.

I want these trees all to myself, but they're no secret in Powder Park 3.
A mother and her calf—never get between them! Go way off the trail and around them. Here, the mother is on the skin-track, and I made my own track on the other side of the drainage.
