Black Crows should pay me. Here I'm ready to start skiing back down Session's Ridge. Sure glad I didn't have to walk this section. You can ski it all the way as far as is shown in the photo, and then some, before you have to finally boot the rest of it.
Your first view of Rocky Drainage (sometimes called Rocky Basin, but it's not really a basin.) The line I favored from the peak followed the drainage to the right side of the picture.
Fun skiing on the way back.
A ski run into Rocky Basin is shown, then a short run along Session's Ridge, then the Kenny Bowl run to finish.
Skin away from the dirt/rocks, yes, but don't skin too close to the edge of the cornice line!
