The West summit of Mt Cheops. The entrance of the line is approx 80m further along this ridgeline.
Skiing the lower slopes of The Shelf. 45-50 degree slopes in the area.
Rapping over the cornice into the STS couloir, Mt Cheops north face.
Coiling the ropes after the 30m rap in. Very steep in this section of the STS couloir. Approx 60 degrees here. A full 60m rappel would get you past this steeper area, onto easier slopes below.
