Description

This approach starts at the Second Creek Trailhead, passes the Broome Hut and ascends above treeline. The skiing up here varies between some fantastic blue skiing to some more dangerous (read: avalanche potential) terrain. Once you're up above treeline, you can easily get several laps in.

View of Parry Peak from the summit of the trail. Looking to the North (and slightly West), you can see the Cirque Trail at Winter Park.

Lots of recent snow. Couldn't go much past hut, avy danger wise but still a beautiful, straightforward approach and run.
