Need to Know

If it's your first time on here, you may find yourself in some dense clumps of spruces about half way down. Don't get sucked too far to skier's left and you should be ok.

Description

Short Swing is a perfect dawn patrol run. It is one of the first slopes accessible from the Mill D North Fork, and it is a quick skin to the top. It holds snow very well, and the skiing is great. There is almost always a skin track put in (even by 6 in the morning on a fresh powder day). The most direct way to access Short Swing is by taking the first skin track you see on the right after getting onto the Mill D North Fork trail from the cabin access road.
