Need to Know

This is a no-fall zone. There are several small cliffs and the terrain is over 50 degrees.

Description

Dodges Drop is located just south of Hillmans. There is an excellent view of this route from HoJo's. Dodges drop is one of the steeper and most challenging routes sustaining a 50 degree slope. Most skiers will choose to ski neighbouring Hillmans Highway. Dodges Drop typically loses snow before Hillmans and is often only skiable into mid April. Total Vertical, approx 1,200 ft.

Scary. No chance for self-arrest if you fall. Too steep and long to sideslip or sidestep down, so perfectly balanced jump turns are the only way down.
