A long approach by Togwotee standards, this puts you on the edge of the Bridger Teton Wilderness, and away from the sound of the two and four stroke snow machines that rule the highway corridor through this zone.
From the East Angle Ascent uptrack, peel off and continue toward the headwaters of the drainage generally following the summer trail. As you approach the mellow headwall, peel off from where the summer trail would go and beeline it straight for the saddle. This is the Wilderness boundary and turns can be downhill below you in the wild.
