Description
As simple as following the power lines "Pole Lines" - as they are situated along one of safest approach routes. (weather conditions permitting - ie wind loading & uphill instabilities)
Usually takes about 45minutes to climb, and 99% of the time there is at least one previously put in track.
From the top there are a lot of options: the most obvious, Cardiff Bowl (South E facing), around Cardiff peak to gain Superior's ridge line where you can drop off the South side of Superior to access: Hell Gate,
Two Trees, Little Superior, Superior proper & Monte Cristo - also options to work towards Mineral Fork & the Mill B South Fork drainages . Or climb and drop off the North side of the ridge to access: Cardiac Bowl, Room of Doom, Ivory Flakes and work your way down Cardiff Fork toward Big Cottonwood.
