Overview

This open bowl descends to a small stream that leads out to I-70.

Need to Know

The bottom of the bowl funnels into a potential terrain trap from the northwest slope as it can slide. Additionally, in the spring, one must beware the stream that flows underfoot.

Description

The Northeast Bowl is easily accessible from the Northeast Face route. Note that snow conditions in the forest are often different than snow conditions on the face. This can make for unexpected and treacherous travel.
