Overview

Butler Gulch is a popular backcountry area that is easily accessed from the Front Range. It offers a variety of terrain that allows ample opportunity for multiple laps.

Description

While this area sees quite a bit of activity, there are always untracked lines to be found. As in any backcountry area, there are potential terrain traps, so pick your line wisely.

Drop in east or west side of the island of trees on the upper face and the snow is great. Gets pretty shallow beyond that. 6.8mi — 3h 45m
