Need to Know

Watch for uphill traffic. Powder Addiction has a special use permit to take snow cats full of skiers up for guided backcountry skiing.

Description

Peak 12,666 bowl contains a number of steeper chutes (A few lines are drawin in on the picture). These all drop directly into the West Fork Bowl. If you are out for steep chutes, hike back to the top of your next line. If not, continue down West Fork Bowl and back to the trailhead.

All of the lines in the West Fork Bowl essentially lead back to the cat track that leads back to the car. Just follow it and you'll successfully make it home.

Peak 12,666 bowl contains steeper, more advanced terrain. West Fork Bowl mellows out to intermediate terrain.
