Coxing Creek to Upper Trapps Carriage Road Ascent

Type: Backcountry or Sidecountry

Start at Coxing Creek parking area and head towards Split Rock. Cross the bridge and follow the trail uphill towards the Lower Trapps Parking area. Continue left when the trails merge. You'll need to briefly come out of your skis and hike up some steps. Continue left at the top of the steps. You'll reach a large intersection with a big boulder in the middle. Go left on the Trapps Upper Carriage Road. Continue on this carriage road for at least 1/4 to 1/2 mile until you've gained some elevation. Pick a line (on your left) and enjoy!
