Description

From the Never Summer Nordic yurts, follow the obvious road to the start of the Jewel Lake Trail. Passable to cars in the summer months, this first portion makes for an tame and flat tour. Eventually, you'll make your way onto the trail, where the trees will close in, and the grade will steepen. From the trail's start, try to stay east of the South Fork Canadian River - it's not necessary to cross.

Eventually you'll start to come out of the trees, and into an area where the path forward is much less clear. From here, it's "Winter Rules" as to getting to the Lake. This track will get you there, but like "Parley," it should be referred to as guidelines instead of rules. Hopefully it gives you a good idea, and you enjoy the way up!
