Herman Saddle Approach

Type: Backcountry or Sidecountry

From the Mount Baker parking lot, head south, then west along the Bagley Lakes valley. Once you've reached the valley's terminus, begin ascending west/northwest. There are lines above you, such as Rampzilla, Little Switzerland, and Boulderfield.

If you're looking to ski into the Iceberg Lake area, however, you're going to want to continue west.

The top of the saddle ushers epic views of Mt. Shuksan. To boot, you'll be right under the steep walls of Table Mountain.
