Description
From the
Bull of the Woods Trail when you reach the saddle between Bull of the Woods and Frazer Mountains, head south. The route follows a gradually steepening ridge above a windloaded drop into avalanche paths and gains the ridge between Frazer's summit and north points.
There is usually a rolling snowfield here that lingers until late July; find a suitable route over this snowfield and continue across open tundra on an ascending traverse towards Frazer's 12,143' high summit. From here, the route is pretty straightforward; there's some slightly technical sections as it climbs the rocky up-and-down points above the Bong, Peace and Finger chutes then on towards Dog Peak, Mount Walter and topping out on Wheeler Peak at 13,161'.
