Overview

This run is skied a lot because of its ability to be lapped quickly and the fact that it usually holds some good snow.

Need to Know

While this is most likely the safest line off the South Diamond, it is definitely still serious avalanche terrain. It's east facing, contains a convex roller, and peaks out at about 35 degrees (depending on how far right you ski). Ski this line with the knowledge that large portions of the South Diamond face usually slide about once a year, this run included.

Description

After taking the South Diamond Ascent, follow the first open section with some small trees to your left and towards the bottom of the run.
