Description

This seldom-skied tight line descends West Simpson's rugged northwest face. The top is usually scoured to rocks by strong westerly winds. From the West Simpson Saddle Approach, make your way down the tundra to where the rideable snow begins. When you're certain you're on the right line, drop in and enjoy the ride. Make sure not to end up on the cliffs on either side of the line. This is one of the areas where some lines look rideable from the top and lead to large cliffs.

This couloir is also an exhilarating climb when conditions are safe.
