Description

Directly above the parking lot at Taos Ski Valley, the top of this south-facing line is on Avalanche Ridge above Long Canyon. Dropping from the ridge the trees are tight leading into a drainage, slope angle gradually decreases as the forest opens up into a gully. Watch for fallen trees and random boulders strewn about. The bottom levels out before you leave the forest onto the cutbank above the lot.
