Wy'East Face Ascent

This track shows the approach from the Meadows parking lot around the west side of the resort. Stay out of bound for the resort when the resort is operational. Once at the top of the resort, follow a cat-track up to the top of Superbowl; this is all low angle.

Once at the top of Superbowl, boot crampons and an ice axe may be necessary depending on conditions. With firm snow, crampons/ice axe recommended as the run out/slide would be a few thousand feet down to the bottom of Heather Canyon. Bootpack/skin up the blank Wy'east face heading towards the small rock outcroppings near the top. The summit has a wide ledge to transition to descent mode.
