Description

Follow the instructions to Beartrap Fork. After passing the terrain-trap gully that is mentioned in those instructions, the main track stays slightly right of the drainage and then climbs to the ridge at the top of Beartrap Glades (near Silver). From the ridge you can ski back into Beartrap through any of several wide-open glades.

It is best to avoid the tight-and-steep (and avalanche prone) evergreen trees that are located between the Beartrap Glades and Beartrap Aspens.
