Overview

A small hike from the Sky Chair at Heavenly to the top of Monument Peak gives you nearly a mile of descent to the valley floor below. This run only comes in every couple years, so make sure there is enough snow at the bottom.

Description

Start at Sky Chair and head to Momument Peak for the proper start. You can also ski the peak. The gate to exit the ski resort is just above Gate 1 for Killebrew Canyon. Starts with an open bowl down to about 3,000 feet. Do not miss the road across the creek at 6,400 feet elevation. Follow the road to your parking spot at the park and ride at the bottom of Kingsbury Grade.
