Need to Know

Parking by a bridge crossing the creek one mile past the turn onto power plant road.

Description

Gains access for V-Bowl and, if you continue, the upper Dana Chutes.

The route starts by crossing a gated bridge right by parking area. Then follows a ski track up some trees towards the visible tree-less or thin-tree'd section of V-Bowl. The skinning will go through some moderate brush and treed area until the base of the snow slope that is v-bowl before gaining it.

Towards the top, the bowl becomes a shallow gulley and can be more wind blown and hard packed. There is also a rock band on its right side near the top.
