Need to Know

Be aware: there have been many, many skier-triggered avalanches in this area and at least one recorded death on Little Superior.

Description

From PoleLine Pass / Cardiff Pass, head due west on the ridge. The skin passes many great lines like Power Outage, Two Trees and Little Superior Buttress.

As you approach Little Superior, the skin gets steep and you may need to boot pack. Go easy and slow in the steeper sections. Not for the beginner.

From the summit, drop into Superior: South Face for the classic line, or to the north on one of the equally amazing lines.
