Need to Know
This is not a very remote line, but you still need to be very self sufficient. Review the CAIC website before venturing out in this remote ski area. Be sure to carry a shovel, probe, and transceiver.
Description
After getting to the ridge and heading west, we passed the "Parking Lot Trees", the first right turn after getting to the top of the ridge. We skinned past the "Parking Lot Trees" maybe a 150 yards and made a right turn, and headed to the edge of the trees on the right. We found another opening in the trees just right of the "Slot Trees", and we are calling this line "First Shot".
It's not super steep, but maybe 35 degrees, wide open, with some trees, and slide potential on the wrong day. We headed straight down, hitting numerous clearings before turning right and heading back to the parking lot
We did put our skins back on to get back to the parking lot for a few hundred yards.
