Satan's Abbey

Type: Backcountry or Sidecountry

From the main Devils Thumb Ridge trail, head to the left once you reach the end of the open meadow on the bench. You might have to pop through 10 meters of alders to reach the base of the slope. Once there, a series of switchbacks will take you up mostly open and undulating terrain to gain the top of the next bench at treeline. This accent stays just to the lookers left of the small gully and finishes just to the right of the larger gully that comes down from above.
