Overview

I D7 R2
There's a nice steep section up top (around 40 degrees), then the route goes under a large cornice as the grade lessens, before ending up in a 40-ft wide choke at the very bottom.

Description

While it's absolutely possible to climb the couloir, it would ideally be approached via West Sheridan: NW Gully Approach, as the snow closely resembles what will be found in the couloir as well as being lower-angle. To skier's left, there is a sizable cornice that must be avoided.

Overall, just a fun line to carve down in good conditions, starting steeper at the very top and ending in a choke bordered by two twenty-foot-tall walls.
