A moderate ski off of the summit of a 13er, this is a sweet ski in the right conditions.

Overview

If and when the snow is continuous off of Taylor, the angle and skiing here can be really nice. Coupled with a descent down Andrew's Glacier, this can be a fairly long, sustained downhill.

Description

The angle of descent is largely unchanged and continuous the entire way down to the shoulder/Andrew's Glacier. There are a few areas where one may have to negotiate small rock bands in light snow, but all in all a continuous ski is possible. This is very comparable to a descent off of Mt Bierstadt (same aspect and similar slope angle).
